About The Event
WHAT IS BACHATA?
Bachata originally comes from the Dominican Republic and is a beautifully graceful dance with sensual, elegant moves. Bachata has evolved in recent years into other modern forms so that we now see Dominican bachata ( original form with fancy footwork), Bachata Sensual ( with sensual body isolations such as body rolls and breaks to show off your partner) and Bachata Moderna ( with showy hand flicks, and a nod to RnB musical influences) .
To read more about it see http://www.bachatabrno.com
Bachata is widely danced in salsa clubs around the world and is extremely popular in Europe at the moment.
We teach a blend of all styles at a relaxed an easy pace. Many people new to the salsa scene find bachata easier to pick up than salsa due to the slower pace of the music and less complex footwork. It's the perfect complement to salsa!
